@teachlinuxwindowsmac Hi disable secure boot, leave uefi mode enabled in your bios. Burn the iso from windows with rufus for UEFI/GPT or with deepin boot maker.exe that is inside the ISO. If you are using a whole disk choose the automatic mode so that deepin is installed on it.

Solutions if you can not install Deepin
These are the possible solutions, considering that the computer does meet the requirements:
Check if the disk image matches the one on the download page. Also, you must get the latest version, which could correct any error. This is the first on the list when executing the boot disk displays a black screen with only text.
Make sure the boot disk is in a fast read drive.
Try disabling Secure boot. Some brands prohibit installing other operating systems for this feature.
Change the whole disk installation mode to manual, or vice versa.
If you are going to do the manual installation, keep in mind that it only works with EXT4. Any other data system like NTFS will not work.
If the monitor causes display problems, try changing the VGA, HDMI connection, or switch to an external one.
1) Do you do the "complete" installation? or are you trying to do the "advanced"?
2) Make sure you boot from the installation media (Boot option 1: USB deepin).
3) Does it let you install deepin and it gives you an error? Does it not boot the installation usb?
