Ubuntu Kernel Upgrade Utility

Tabla de contenidos

Ubuntu Kernel Upgrade Utility o UKUU is a Linux kernel version manager. Allows to toggle between the previous and recent version. Also, install that version for optimizations. This application is intended only for advanced users, no matter how easy it is to change the kernel version.

How to use it

  1. First download from the package manager Synaptic with ukuu. Only maintenance releases are available, due to a license change.
  2. Once installed, we can manage the version (or versions) installed from the interface. For example, Deepin's modified cores.
  3. If you want to install a new version, you can download. Before doing so, we recommend uninstalling drivers optimized for that version, including those of graphics cards.
