Using additional repositories

This page contains a list of repositories complementary true software in Deepin. Generally, you need not follow this manual for most applications. Should the Deepin Store is slow, we suggest change your repository Y the mirrors list.

Note: Use the repositories carefully. Some of them may breaking the operating system, Making it unstable. The documentation is in their websites.

Add a repository

You can add one creating a file in etc/apt/sources.list.d/nombredelarchivo.list

  • Visit the repository list.
    • Consider using Debian version according to the version of Deepin if possible.
    • Some repositories could make incompatible with the DDE (such as desk).

  • Repositories to consider:
    • Repositories Security: Security patches (security).
    • Updates: Obtain the latest versions estables.stretch-updates
    • Backports: Allow install advanced versions of Deepin from the 'Sid' experimental section (eg,stretch-backports).







key file

Each repository needs a file to certify that the repository is not falsified. Perhaps for security measures. This is known as a key and is in one file gpg (Privacy Guard). Some sites offer instructions in their sudo apt-key add - you should check on their own.
