Control Center (Part 1) Manual

This manual includes the version 15.5 Deepin of the operating system. Some words are translated according tothis glossary. Due to changes in interface, compatibility is unknown in recent editions.

Incluye widget, modificaciones frecuentes, administración de cuentas, ajustes de red, fecha y hora, personalización, configuración de pantalla, etc. Cuando ingrese al Deepin Desktop Environment, puede abrir el Centro de control moviendo el puntero del mouse hacia la esquina inferior derecha en el escritorio.

Introuducción section start

Home Section Control Center displays general information for users to check daily and adjust it in seconds.

Once you open a configuration module in the Control Center, the navigation bar on the left. Click the icon to quickly switch to other configurations.

Account settings

You can protect your private data and additional protection through account settings.

Create new account

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on Create Account.
  3. Enter the new user name, enter the password twice.
  4. click on Create.
  5. Introuzca the password in the authentication page and the new account will be created in the user list.

Modify avatar Account

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon]
  2. Click on an existing account from the list.
  3. click on modify avatar to enter the section to change the avatar.
  4. Select a default avatar or one place to finish.

Nota: Puede hacer clic al avatar del usuario para ingresar al apartado de la Account.

Modify account password

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. Click on an existing account from the list.

Autologon

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. Click on an existing account from the list.
  3. click on Autologon to activate the logon automatically.

Login without password

  3. click on Login without passwordTo enter the system without a password.

Set password fingerprint

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. Click on an existing account from the list.
  3. click on Password fingerprint to open auto login function.
  4. click on Add fingerprint to enter the supplementary section.
  5. Place your finger to a fingerprint reader, and then click Fact after adding the mark correctly.

Delete account

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. Click on an existing account from the list.
  3. click on Delete account .
  4. Confirmation interface, click Delete.

You can not delete the user already logged on.

Screen settings

Your computer can achieve the best performance by setting resolution, orientation and extent of monitor screens.

Simple display settings

You can adjust the visual perception by adjusting the screen resolution, brightness, among others.

Adjust screen scaling
  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. Click on the numbers slider to adjust the screen scaling (1, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2.0).
  3. It will take effect after reboot.

When the screen HiDPI is detected, the display will change automatically scale.

Some applications are not compatible with the display scale, you can click the right mouse button and select in the Launcher Scaling off panalla for better visualization effect.

adjust resolution
  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on Resolution section to enter the display settings.
  3. Select the appropriate resolution in the list.
adjust brightness
  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on Brightness section to enter the brightness setting.

Adjust screen orientation
  1. Home Section Control Center, click [click].
  2. click on Rotate to rotate the screen.
  3. Each time you click the mouse, the screen will rotate 90 degrees clockwise clock.
  4. Click the right mouse button to exit the interface screen rotated.

Multiple Display Settings

Projection screen

Adjust default application

When installing multiple applications of the same type, you can choose one to be the default application to run.

Select default applications

  3. Select applications from the list.

Add default applications

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on default applications to enter the configuration section and change the default applications.
  3. click on Add On in different ways:

    • When you select a specific binary file, the icon, the name and path will be automatically added to the list.

Default delete applications

Personalization settings

adjust topic

  • In the list of topics of the cursor, select a style of cursor to change it.

adjust font

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on Fuente to enter the interface font settings.

Activate window effects

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].

Bluetooth settings

Bluetooth enabled

  3. Activate the Bluetooth switch to turn on the Bluetooth device.

Appoint Bluetooth device

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on Bluetooth to enter the Bluetooth configuration section.
  3. Click on the edit icon next to the name of the Bluetooth device, enter the new name.

After successfully changing the name, the Bluetooth adapter will issue its new name, other devices need to seek a new name.

Bluetooth device

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on Bluetooth to enter the Bluetooth configuration section.
  3. In the list of Other devicesThe system will find the more fences enabled device and automatically connect to them.
  4. The device will be added to my devices after connecting successfully.
  5. In My devices, may Sign out and Ignoring this device.

Network Settings

Wired network connection

  1. Plug the cable into the slot on the computer network.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to the router or network port.
  3. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  4. Activate the switch Wired network card to use the wired network.
  5. After successfully connect to the network, it will indicate as "connected wired connection."

Wireless connection

Connect to a Wi-Fi
  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. Activate the switch Wireless card to use the wireless network.
  3. click on Wireless connection enter the list of wireless networks.
  4. The computer will automatically locate the nearest available wireless network.
  5. Select the wireless network to connect.
  • If the network is open, it will automatically connect to the network.
  • If the network is encrypted, enter the password and click Connect to finish the job.
Connect to hidden network
  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. Activate the switch Wireless card to use the wireless network.
  3. click on Wireless connection enter the list of wireless networks.
  4. click on Connect to hidden network to enter the section to connect invisible networks.
  5. Enter the network name and choose the encryption method, then enter the password.

Shared connection

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on Shared connection to enter the section hotpost (English name Connection Sharing).
  3. Click on the switch to enable or disable the shared connection.
  4. click on Sharing settings for details or personalized name and password.

Mobile networks

  1. Conecte la tarjeta de red móvil al puerto USB.

  4. click on Mobile connection to view detailed configuration information.

DSL / PPPoE

Create new connection DSL / PPPoE
  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on DSL.
  3. click on Create connection PPPoE.
  4. Enter the name, account and password.
  5. click on Save and the system will create the connection and try to connect.
Modify connection DSL / PPPoE
  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on DSL.
  3. click on PPPoE connection to enter the configuration section of the DSL / PPPoE connections.
  4. Change the name, account, password, automatic login, IP address or if you want to open authentication services.

VPN

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on VPN Y Crear VPN to enter the interface to creat VPN connections.
  3. After creating the VPN, you can click Export to export the configuration file.
    You can also click import VPN to import the existing VPN file.

If you do not want to use the VPN as the default routing, click Only applicable to the corresponding resources.

Proxy for application

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on Proxy for application to enter the proxy settings section application.
  • click on Proxy type to select the type of proxy.
  • Complete the IP address, port, username and password.
  1. click on Confirm to save or click Cancel to return to the previous interface.

Once configured, click the right mouse button on an application in the Launcher to mark Open by proxy, Then the application will open by proxy.

Proxy System

  1. Home Section Control Center, click [icon].
  2. click on Proxy System to enter the proxy settings section of the system.
  • click on None to disable the proxy function.
  • click on Manual and enter the address and port for proxy servers.
  • click on Automatic and enter the URL for configuring the system to load the proxy information automatically.

Network Information

  1. En la sección de inicio del Centro de control, clic en [red normal].
  2. click on Network details to get the connecting interface of network information.
  3. Check network information for the current wired or wireless network
