SONGREC

For years the platform lacked a desktop application capable of recognizing the music that is playing, luckily, this lack was solved by SongRec, an unofficial client for Shazam that uses its services and databases to recognize fingerprints. Using the app

SongRec has a simple but friendly interface that allows us to easily perform the necessary actions. Once launched, it will automatically start listening to the system's audio mixer and if there is multimedia playing in any medium, it will try to recognize it by identifying its fingerprint against the Shazam database.
