INSTALLING Node.js IN Deepin

NodeJS is a JavaScript environment widely used for backend, so today I will explain how to install it in our Deepin operating system.

There are different ways to install it, one is from the official page and the other from the repositories, both being very easy to do, but this time I will explain how to install it from nodejs.org

STEPS AND DISCHARGE

On the page we can see 2 versions, one LTS and another current, we choose the one that suits us.

In my case I downloaded the current one, for which they will save the file in a folder where they do not move it, preferably in the personal folder and create a folder for their programs but starting with '.' to hide it and avoid later problems.

INSTALLATION

In my case, the folder where I saved is: /home/jose/.Programs/nodejs (The folder must create it)

*IMPORTANT

The PATH_NODE does not end in '/'

If not using bash, but zsh or fish (I recommend visiting those articles), replace bash by the respective configuration file, in case of zsh is .zshrc

CHECK

Verification of installation of nodejs in Deepin

In this way you can install NodeJS in deepin, if you liked the tutorial or have any questions about what is explained here, do not hesitate to leave us a comment.
