TRANSLATE WPS + SPANISH DICTIONARY
After installing the new version of Deepin 15.6, something we noticed with WPS is that the option to translate its interface is no longer available in the Linux suite. To solve this and provide a solution, we have created and compiled the necessary packages.
WPS in Deepin
Attention: We must install the Deepines 2.0 repository:
Translate the Interface into WPS
- After installing the repository we execute the following command in the terminal:
sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade
- Then we install the following:
sudo apt install wps-fix-en
- We close WPS and we open it again
Install the Dictionary
- To install the Spanish dictionary and spellchecker, we execute in the terminal
sudo apt install wps-dicc-en
Set the dictionary as the default
- We open a new document
- Let's go to the tab: Review
- We chose the option: Spelling check
- We double click on the Spanish language and then close wps
We owe this solution to our community partner @Car
Thanks, in this opportunity we try to address the problem of the default suite of deepin. Regarding freeoffice we have it in our repository deepines sudo apt install softmaker-freeoffice-2018 as we also try to give an option to those who prefer libreoffice by keeping the 6 version sudo apt install in our repos repository libreoffice6
I applied all the changes but the WPS is not shown in Spanish:
Let's see why it happens ??

Friends, thank you for the answers, if the system is in Spanish:
Definitely something happened in the update that does not show the icon to switch the language:
here it came out of the folder that names CAR:
I tell you what price to update, WPS worked without problems and in Spanish, because I had installed the corresponding package.
I will investigate from my side, if I find something I will notice.
