15.10 Deepin base
You forgive me for my ignorance, but Deepin 15.10 Debian is based on Debian 9 or 10? Thank you.
Deepin in its new STABLE branch is based on Debian, 9 although Debian Buster came 10 months later has not yet announced when Deepin will change your entire BUSTER basis, it still remains Debian 9 security patches involved.
Today (October 2019) is based on Debian stable stretch in September.
In late April 2019, ISO 15.10 Deepin in which transition based on Debian unstable 9 (SID), to be based on stable Debian 9 is published.
Deepin based on Debian unstable 9 uses the panda repository and Deepin 9 based on Debian stable repository uses the lion.
But but when it came Deepin 15.10 stable, even followed out updates for unstable Deepin until late July, and the Chinese in their ancient wisdom as Hugo said, used the same version numbering for both branches, so there Deepin 15.11 both stable as unstable.
Deepin 15.10 unstable = Deepin panda -> Base Debian SID 9
15.10 Deepin stable = Deepin lion -> 9 stable Debian Base
You can see more details on the link below.
Deepin 20 will be based on Debian stable buster 10 and was announced to be published during November, but no specific date, but if they fall behind no surprise that can review some details on the link below.
