ENABLE WINDOW ANIMATIONS EFFECT IN DEEPIN

Effects and animations

Grettings community, today I bring this tutorial which will address how to enable and configure window animation effects in our beloved SW Deepin 15.11 or higher. Too easy! Dare to explore and customize your system.

The tutorial is divided into two simple videos that are pretty self explanatory.

1-) In this first video we will see how to install KDE System Settings (This software is used to perform all the necessary settings) and how to access the visual effects available. Follow the instructions to the letter and you can create animations and effects really beautiful, to start the command to use to install System Settings is:

update && sudo apt sudo apt install systemsettings

Once installed System Settings then open and look carefully at the video below to follow the steps in the first part of this simple tutorial.

2-) After you find yourself familiar with the steps and instructions of the first video then continues to the second video in which we see as editing in greater depth these effects.

So much for this tutorial. I hope it is useful and if there are questions and / or clarifications or concerns do not be afraid to ask through a comment below and to learn more tricks and tutorials visit my channel on YouTube.

See you soon and at the moment I wish them luck setting their favorite window effects and animations!

Be sure to run the entire command:

update && sudo apt sudo apt install systemsettings

I just try it and it works.

add some form of window decorating themes?

No, Deepin is not compatible with QT or GTK themes, this because Deepin has its own desktop technology called DTK.

That's cool, I wonder why Deepin does not come with systemsettings application already installed.

Hey, that's because the intention of Deepin is not to develop a KDE desktop, but a desktop-based, so far the technology KDE this is possible only because Deepin 15.11 lion has not completed the transition from code reuse KDE and generate your new code 'personalized'. All tracks make me assume that this will eventually not work well or stop working completely in Deepin 20.

Isaías Gätjens MIsa Gätjens Mwould be a shame to stop working, I hope not, but on reflection may come with its own effects in that case I suppose .......
